Support
AeroTrack EFB is in private beta. Here's how to reach us.
Beta access
AeroTrack EFB is not yet on the App Store — it's distributed through Apple TestFlight to pilots who request access. To request an invite, email dev@aerotrackefb.com with your aircraft type, where you typically fly, and your iPad or iPhone model. We'll follow up with a TestFlight link.
Reporting a problem
If something in the app is wrong, slow, or missing — a chart that won't download, a frequency that doesn't match the AFD, traffic that isn't showing up from your Stratux — email support@aerotrackefb.com. Useful details:
- Device model and iOS version
- App version (Settings → About, once you're on a build)
- What you expected versus what happened
- The airport, chart region, or route involved, if relevant
Common questions
Is this a certified navigation system?
No. AeroTrack EFB is a situational awareness and planning aid, not a certified or TSO'd navigation system. It is not approved as a primary or sole means of navigation. See the terms of use for the full statement.
Does it work without a data connection?
That's the point of it. Chart packs, the airport database, your flight plans, and your aircraft profiles are stored on the device. Live data — weather, TFRs, NOTAMs, ADS-B traffic — naturally needs a connection (or, for ADS-B, a local link to your receiver) to update, and the app is built to make clear when something is stale rather than showing it as current.
What do I need to connect ADS-B traffic?
A Stratux receiver (or anything broadcasting standard GDL-90 over Wi-Fi) on the same network as your device. The app listens on UDP port 4000, the Stratux default.
Will there be a subscription?
Likely, to cover chart hosting and data costs as the app moves beyond beta — but nothing is charged today, and any future pricing will be shown clearly before you're asked to pay. Purchases would go through Apple's App Store, not a separate account system.
What devices are supported?
iPad and iPhone, iOS 17.0 or later.
